It seems someone was powerful enough to take down the mighty Kyouya Hibari. My, my. Should we all be worried about a potential assassin in our midst?

(ooc: Byakuran recently got the Vendice to agree to free Mukuro completely, so if word of that somehow gets around [since it happened on his birthday, which was one day before Hibari got injured], feel free to accuse him etc.

On a side note, Byakuran: want to log something relating to his birthday? ~~Mun is bored.~~)

My, I have been wondering about the same thing. This case is kind of interesting.

I had to immobilise him last time we fought in order to cripple him. I do wonder what it was which forced him to be hospitalised.

(ooc: I don't know. We ought to finish the party log first w/ Chrome, but maybe we could log what happens afterwards? I'm really just looking for excuses to do something, ahaha.)

Then it is possible the attacker didn't fight him fair and square.

I would question whether or not you had a hand in his injury if I did not know better.

As much as I can benefit from the strongest Guardian of the Vongola being injured, I am more interested in something else at the moment, love. And because of your history with Hibari-chan, you are not completely out of suspicion as well.

The hostility is one-sided. I have no reason to attack him.

Hostility, fun and mischief...sometimes the end result is the same thing. It's not like I don't believe you, though.

I will handle the suspicion when it comes. It is nothing new after all.

Do you know anything about the attacker, then, Mukuro? Far as I know, you're the only illusionist who had managed to harm Kyouya badly before.

First of all: are you sure the one responsible is an illusionist, Dino Cavallone~?

I'm not sure of anything at the moment, but, knowing Kyouya, my biggest suspicion at the moment lays on illusionists. I was there when the attack happened and I didn't feel anything at all. The only people I know who can hide their presence that well are illusionists.

Do you think this is not an illusionist's work?

While you are correct in your assumptions, do you not think Hibari Kyouya would have sensed - even for a moment - had I or any of the other illusionists been present nearby? Perhaps you ought to ask him before making accusations as you have no other proof.

I'm not accusing anyone. I know that I still have no proof and I admit it's... strange for Kyouya to not realize an illusionist's presence considering his paranoid tendency. It might be different if he's lowering his defence and someone has been waiting just for that opportunity, though. I'd love to talk to Kyouya, but unfortunately... he's still unconscious.

I would like to ask him myself. Though I think perhaps my presence would not be welcome considering the circumstances.

...It's a good thing you failed, Mukuro. I'd hate to break the alliance between Cavallone and Vongola because I killed their Mist Guardian.

It's amusing that you think you could kill me. I do wonder who would be the victor should Vongola and Cavallone clash.
